Denison

Cottonwood Creek Denison is a vibrant church with contemporary worship, Biblical teaching, a fun and bright Children's Ministry that includes infants through 5th grade students and a growing youth ministry for 6th through 12th grade students.

Just as our sister church in Allen can trace its faithful heritage back to 1882, Cottonwood Creek Denison's roots grow deep as well. Hyde Park Baptist Church began its ministry in 1957. Today, as we draw on the experience of the faithful members of Hyde Park, we are moving forward together to make a difference in the Denison Community. We provide new members and visitors a place to worship, learn, serve and care for one another.

We invite you to visit us and experience all that God has done and all that He has in store for this dynamic ministry we call Cottonwood Creek Denison.

We will enjoy a cook-out on the church lawn at 12:15 p.m. after our morning worship service, and will have inflatable bounce houses for all the kids! Pastor

Pastor Jeremy Woods

Denison Pastor Jeremy and his family Sarah and Spencer Woods joined the Cottonwood Creek family in November 2010, serving as the Denison campus pastor. Jeremy and Sarah were married March 15, 2008 and Spencer was born October 21, 2010. Jeremy has been in the ministry for ten years, serving as pastor, associate pastor, youth pastor, and children’s minister. Sarah is in her fifth year as a first grade teacher in Sherman. Jeremy and Sarah are both graduates of S.O.S.U. in Durant, OK, with Jeremy also graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, going to the movies, and taking their kayaks out on the lake.
